Any fact behind this?
A lot of acrobatic/stunt planes still use piston engines (better throttle response, etc) these are modified to fly upside down for extended periods by having additional gas/oil tanks and modified sump system to supply fluids while the engine is upside down.
F1 cars already have a dry sump systems using external reservoirs. Water, oil, fuel would all need modifications so they don't drain out and don't lose pressure. I think the biggest problem would be that oil would eventually pool in the cylinders - limiting the amount of timing you want to spend upside down, and possibly requiring your oiling system to need a new sump pickup at the top of the crankcase.
A pressurized dry-sump lubricated engines would work fine, particularly if they use any sort of direct injection where the fuel is vaporized as opposed to be sprayed - you'd have to use a pressurized fuel cell as well.

Holy shitOriginally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
