Help Identifying this car

This is a picture of my Dad, from between 1959-1960. I know it's long shot, but he's gone and I never got around to asking what car this was, he kept all his others, but let this one go, I used to have other pictures, but this is the only one I could find. TIA!!!

is that a V8 emblem in between the front tire and turn signal...If so then it is a ford..Correct?

Its more than likely a Ford he almost exclusively drove Ford, but who knows

Glad to help

Soon as I looked at the front fender, I was pretty sure. My old man had a 55 ford wagon, so the fender emblem and hubcap sure did look familiar.
