Grey svo is mine, I did just buy it. Pretty rough around the edges. I've had to fix a lot. I would be interested to know the history if you don't mind dumpy. As 4bangen said I didn't run just watched and cruised . I had my 3 yr old with me and he was every where. Its my second svo and 4th 2.3 turbo vehicle, first one was totalled due to a douche bag pulling out in from me.

Nice... yeah cobra r are gone, I replaced all the couplers with silicone pieces, put a rebuilt .60/.63 t3 on it because the stock turbo was pouring oil into the intake, rerouted to wg from that cheesy flex tube shit. Replaced the boost controler with a "gilis" style valve and turned it up to 17psi, ordered a FMS t5 rebuild kit from late model resto, in the processe of swaping the 7.5 for the 8.8 in my garage with new bearings as the 7.5 is toast. Loud ass bearing noise on the highway, drive shaft is going to inland to get balanced in a week or two, ordering a v8 bell to 2.3 adapter from canfield industries and installing a v8 clutch with the trans out. Ordered an adjustable cam gear from racer walsh so I can retard that ranger roller that's in it until I can afford a boport cam. I also am picking up a 90mm lmaf for a maf swap unless I can find a good starting transfer and tube for my 05+ slot maf
I was bummed some one swapped the front svo suspension for the 4cyl stuff. If he has any of that I would like it. Or any parts he has for it would be great.
Future plans are a holset he351, hx35, or precision e billet t3/t4 50 trim hybrid from turbodaves and boprt head and cam.
Spark plug boot is still on the oil dipstick and it work real well, great idea. Thanks for the info. I figured when I saw the volvo front mount and stinger style header some one on this board would know who's it was.89 dove grey lx, turbo blowthrough

He swaped the arms because the ball joints where bad . I will call him and see what all he has . I will PM you and set up a time to get it all . He lives in Arlington and I am sure he would like to get the stuff out of his garage and I am sure he will be happy somebody cool got the car . He wanted me to take it but I have like 5 fox projects already and already have a 2.3 T .Big Rooster Racing

Thanks dumpi, I know the ball joints are hard to come by as well I'm not sure they are replaceable. I just like to keep the things that made that car different and keep some of it original. I'm not freak that believes you shouldn't change anything on these cars. Hell I may just put some aftermarket front end parts on it anyway and convert to sn95 style brakes just so I have more wheel choices or if I can find some old saleen speedsters they fit perfect as the saleens used the same suspension stuff with the wider track width but they are $$.89 dove grey lx, turbo blowthrough

gears if my life depended on it. Even after some adjustments it got a
little better but was still not working right.
Also, the damn car rolled thru the staging lanes on the 2step also because of the cable.
I gave up after burning my finger tips trying to adjust it
I never made a clean pass, bolted the 15" wheels or even turned up the boost
But its all good as its part of racing.
The car ran really strong and completely woke up with the 4.10 gears.
I'm going keep adjusting this cable or replace with my old one.(always worked good but
we had a high clutch pedal but ill take a high pedal over a missed gear any day)
Now its time to lower the car back to the ground, I can't stand the off road look.Last edited by XR_1; 08-23-2011, 10:24 AM.1967 Mustang Fastback - 5.0 32V Stroked Teksid - Supercar GT heads - MARCELLA Billet intake -
