Instead of yelling at the driver to do something completely useless he could have easily got in front of the truck before the 2nd intersection to avoid yet another hazardous situation.

Size 9 trying to stop 6000lbs? I think he'll warp his brakes.

Look's like a newer version of Sanford & Son's truck but I could not see the bottle of Ripple in the pass. seat to confirm it.

LOL... to do what? Stop the truck with his vehicle. Yeah is this hollywood? The the guy was moving out of the way to avoid hitting other vehicles. What makes you think he wouldn't try to move out of the way from hitting the squad car?

Oh I dunno... common sense? You have no breaks and a cruiser pulls in front of you and slows down, what do you think you should do, pull into the oncoming lane? Maybe the sidewalk....
It's a shot instead of being a complete moron while letting a runaway vehicle enter another intersection.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. From his mannerisms I half expected the dude to get drug out of the truck and slammed.

Cop should have just shot him for being so stupid. That has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen.

He already pulled into on coming lanes when approaching the second intersection. Natural reaction is to avoid collisions. This is proven as the truck tried to avoid every vehicle at both intersections. What's going to change if a squad car pulls in front??? All of a sudden natural instinct of avoid collisions is going to stop.

[Truck drivers natural thoughts] "Oh its a police car ill just ram it instead of ramming a citizens car"

Come on man give me a break!

He would have dodged the cop car too, in order to not damage his (piece of shit) truck.

I'd be afraid if I hit the cop car trying to stop me, I'd get charged with assaulting a police officer or something.

Na, I see what everyone is saying - but hell it could have been as simple as the officer not being sure if he'd be held responsible for the damage on his car if he did it. Don't know if that happens, but I remember command trying to hold me responsible for various vehicle damage when we were training. Stuff happens.

If this is truly the case then it is true drivers today are completely retarded. I'd much rather ram a cop car intentionally pulling in front of me/slowing down to hopefully stop what could be a potentially dangerous situation with the risk of broadsiding yet another vehicle or getting hit.

I see your point at least w/ that cop who'd rather squeal about putting it in park than rendering himself useful. You hit him he'd think you were trying to assault him and you die. I say good choice of the driver to hit other cars and risk his and others safety rather than the officer's.
