Nice truck.. Wife has a Denali w/ a 6.2 and it defently needs a tune.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

Fucking nice. Will it do that 400rwhp on 87 octane. I just sold my truck. Thinking about going gas!

Better keep those wheels in the garage! Did you get rid of the z71?

i got a 6.2 as well. mine is a crew but 4x4. wish i could tune it. don't want to risk the warranty. my best tank to date is 21mpg and worse is 11mpg. usually average 16. check out performancetrucks.net for a lot of good info on these 6.2 trucks. couple guys in high 12s and a lot in the 13s.

the heyday is over IMO... used to be far lower operating costs and better resale... operating cost is higher, and common rail injection has taken away a lot of the worry-free ownership.

don't get me wrong, I love having 500rwhp with nothing but a tune, but I'm about at the point of not even caring anymore

I'm curious as to what engine problems you think you'll have that you would need the warranty for. These engines are pretty tried and true IMO

I understand that. The good ones are getting long in the tooth, getting harder to find the good ones.

I'll probably end up in another diesel, but I've been looking hard at a GM gasser

400 is pretty easy on 93, put a cam in and 435 is nicer.

Want some texas edition 20s? (nbs VHO wheels) You know you want less rotating mass, those 22s are too heavy

That thing needs more low, waaaaay too high

I'm gonna lower it next week. As far as the wheels go, I bought these yesterday. I kept the XD wheels off my 4x4 and put them on this truck till I sold them.

Those are my favorite GM wheels, just too hard to come by for a good deal on them

How low are you going? Im loving the 4/6 McGuaghys on my 08 CC, still rides like stock, just bottoms out a hair shorter on those big dips.
