  • How much would you pay for a custom car?

I was looking for LSX swap engine mounts for my Chevelle and found these guys: www.feslerbillet.com

    1967 Blazer Custom - $185,000

    1967 C-10 $225,000

    1969 Camaro $285,000

Please note these are the "SALE" prices - act now, they are going fast...

Fesler makes some pretty nice products, but their prices are a bit silly. BUT, the customer service is excellent. If there is ANYTHING wrong with your order, call and talk to Amy and she will go out of her way to fix it. We ordered several pieces from them a couple of years ago and she was great.

Their prices were over double for the engine mounts versus some of the others I was looking at. I will say that everything on their site looks show quality. I'm just not sure that the engine mounts need to be show quality on a car that's not going to be in beauty pageants every week.

      Theirs - full billet -$250

Dirty Dingo - $120 Adjustable Powder coated

I am/was a Fesler dealer. They are WAY over priced on everything. And those prices on the trucks and camaro are idiotic.

That is a bad comparison. Depending on the use, I think between the two choices, the extra cost is worth it in quality.

Nice stuff, but let's be realistic here... all three of those could be bought together for $200k in today's market. Easily. Probably more like $120-150k for the three of them.

Chris has to pay for all his high dollar shop space, equipment and 18 wheeler display trucks some how.

I guarantee you if I had that kind of money to pay someone to build a car it would not be Fesler. Ironworks and a few others are in the same price point but the metal work I have seen is 10x better IMO.

Custom built vehicles aren't cheap if you farm the work out. I've seen interiors go for 20-25K
