Alright so I just happened to be driving the route that a police chase was taking place where a man going 5 mph in a forklift was running from the cops putting everyone else life in danger so just like any other citizen I pull out of iPhone 4 video camera and capture what I can - The news reports state that the police say I put myself and others in danger by filming the chase! They are seriously mistaken. Are they serious - If anyone allowed someone to be put into danger it was the police who failed to stop the suspect on I-30 as he continued his rampage after they fired a taser and missed the suspect. He could had easily killed anyone including them and at that time they should had used any means to subdue the suspect even if it required lethal force. Facts are that yes the man was drunk, driving crazy in a huge heavy piece of machinery, constantly threatening others and police. Why did they allow the chase to go on so long?"

FORT WORTH -- The man accused of leading police on a chase on a stolen forklift -- with his dog and a six-pack of beer -- in August was found incompetent to stand trial, a court official said Wednesday.
Timothy Raines was ordered to the North Texas State Hospital in Vernon for 120 days. At that time, he will be re-evaluated to determine whether he's competent or must continue his hospital stay, according to Tarrant County criminal court records.
Raines, 44, of Fort Worth is accused of stealing a forklift from a construction site and driving it along University Drive and Interstate 30 while intoxicated.
Raines faces charges of assaulting a public servant, theft of property, evading arrest and driving while intoxicated.
The slow-speed chase was captured on video -- it shows a man on the forklift throwing beer bottles at oncoming traffic -- and became a national news story.
Police said Raines almost hit several vehicles, including patrol cars, during the chase, which never exceeded 16 mph.
Raines got off the forklift on westbound I-30 near the Ashland Avenue/Hulen Street exit, but the forklift was in reverse and moved toward patrol cars, police said.
Officers jumped on and stopped it before it struck any vehicles, police said.
Raines has a criminal history in Tarrant County. He had been arrested eight times since 2004 on suspicion of burglary, criminal trespass, evading arrest, assault and violation of protective orders, according to court records.
Police said Raines had also been arrested on suspicion of DWI.
