Is it chicken shit to misrepresent your baller status on the web, yeah.

It's also way way way out of line to take it off the web and into real life to fuck with someone's livelihood.

Here's how I see it;
Rich kid has some cool shit, gets tired of dealing with jealous people's bullshit, kid says he's self-made or something he's not (I didn't see that part) to get the jealous to shut it. He gets called on it.

This could have been some really funny ownage for all, but those behind outing him can't contain their jealousy. Had potential for internet hilarity gold, but got weird with a personal attack sort of vibe.

There are a fair number of people on this board that have money, probably enough for a used Lambo and some nice digs but no one else catches hell like he does because from prior posts over on Canada, he presents these toys and things as if he has earned them through hard work and is self-made anytime the subject of having second generation wealth came up. I know however you get your $$$$ is no ones business but don't make shit up and no one will call you on it.

I have to agree. He was pretty cocky on the old site. Toys are cool, but just say,"Hey assholes, look what the old man bought me!". At least I'd respect that.

I agree. That and jealousy are two different things.

It's not the lie he told, but the fact that he lied. Who really cares how he got the nice stuff? It's just pretty pathetic if he lied about being something he isn't. If anything, this thread speaks to his insecurity, not everyone else's.

And heck, he may be a good dude. It just looks like he bluffed and got called on it. Doesn't make him a piece of shit, but it is pretty funny.

This is actually pretty interesting, as i just looked someone up who has long claimed to be a lawyer and didnt find them in the Texas Bar Assoc. website as being registered to practice in texas. Not fully conclusive, as you can graduate law school and go into legal services without practicing law, but still, i found it "interesting".

From what I know, misrepresenting yourself as a licensed CPA is a serious ethical issue, and can prevent you from ever becoming certified. It can also cause your mortgage to be reversed. I know someone who does mortgage investigations to check to make sure CPAs, Engineers, Architects and doctors and stuff were properly certified on their paperwork.
