It's also way way way out of line to take it off the web and into real life to fuck with someone's livelihood.

Here's how I see it;
Rich kid has some cool shit, gets tired of dealing with jealous people's bullshit, kid says he's self-made or something he's not (I didn't see that part) to get the jealous to shut it. He gets called on it.

This could have been some really funny ownage for all, but those behind outing him can't contain their jealousy. Had potential for internet hilarity gold, but got weird with a personal attack sort of vibe.

Sort of unrelated, but I've noticed this on boards. It's like people see text and associate it with THE BOARD in general, and not specific individuals. It's they this, and they that - they are hyocrits I tell ya! Rarely is it the same they.
