And even if I turn around and sell the red roller, There's no way I'll lose more than $300 bucks. hmmm. $300 for a fully rebuilt suspension? its possible I get all my money back out of it, and if I drop a mark8 motor in I could make good profit. :wink1:
like i said, not trying to hate, just seems like a lot of work to save a few bucks. the rear end doesn't even have a girdle on it, have you actually checked to make sure the parts are what they are supposed to be?

seems like a HUGE hassle to swap the parts out, re-sell the roller, blah blah blah for what amounts to maybe 600-800 bucks worth of parts (when new)
Cost way more then that in parts.

and these parts were brand new, ready to bolt on...comparing the cost of all the parts new vs. some used b.s. that who knows the story on isn't really a fair comparison.

Whiteboy is talking about the used parts.

lol. Why are your panties in a wad? Its basically a free suspension overhaul that will probably end up free or almost free.

                          1. I got Roller with suspension cheap
                          2. take that suspension and put it on blackcar
                          3. roller with stock suspension still worth exactly or close to what I paid
                          4. hmmm.

God, you been hanging out with mike and his butt buddy? Dyno on a Wednesday makes more hp, carfax on a control arm. When you buy use parts you take risk, could be tweaked, bushings could be rotted, hardware can be missing, then you've got the labor to swap everything, I could go on and on. If you've got more time than money go for it, I just think at the end of the say buying the stuff (even if used) wouldn't have been a bad deal vs buying a whole car for a rear end and a k member.
