Yup, heated cup holders. They cool your beverage too, as needed. Pretty pimp.

Those non-contact thermometers are very sensitive to distance...I don't put much faith in them.

It will also alert you if it identifies your are not paying attention by beeping or flashing an alert in the display.

LOL, nothing to do with cupholders. It's like virtual coffee, hence the icon.
