lol its very simple to tell a 351 based motor apart from a 302. their is a noticeable distance from the distributor to the thermostat housing. the 351 obviously has the greater distance between there.

The only way to get a 351 under a stock hood is too have a tubular K member, not sure sure if it has been posted yet, but im with the others ive seen that combo on local dynos and max power at the wheels is always around 500hp to 600hp with that blower.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

The 351W has a taller deck height than the 302. (a 302 will have the intake almost flush with the base of the distributor... where it goes into the block..... a 351W will have about 1/2 inch lip there where the intake meets the block.)

I'm looking at the AC bracket which looks like a stock one. The 9.5 deck requires a special AC bracket from Ford Racing which is no longer available.
