  • Couple pics of my buddys 393w setup

built it all himself, don't know all the specs but I do know from what he told me it's a pretty stout build. the vortech V1 S trim is pulled for 14 psi and he made up some custom piping to have it full intercooled. now I have the vortech/intercooler and everything, gonna put it all on tomorrow. Finally got my boost timing master, boost reference regulator & 42# injectors so with this supercharger I'm shootin for some very nice numbers He was makin a bit over 800rwhp with it

sigpic 92 GT, 5 Lugged, 306, Vortech V1 S Trim, 42# injectors, Aeromotive Boost Reference Fuel Pressure Regulator, MSD Boost Timing Master, TKO 600, Moser 31 Spline Axles, 3.73's.

no fukin way. do you know how hard it is to get 500? and costly at that. you can tell by looking it hasn't dumped enough money into it be 800 just by the install.

                That's no 393.

393 is 351 base, check out the intake it sits below the hood line. Way to short, doesn't look wide like a 351 either.

Props though, it looks clean but it isn't what you think it is.

You can get a 351W below the stock hood. It's been done many times. It does look like an 8.2 deck block, though.

Somebody get that guy an a/c delete kit. That will get it in the 800's.

what got me was the lack of camber caster plates, and the spray painted red brake lines, dirty ps pump and a few other lack of details. it may very well put out 800, but by looking at the over all whole thing. if i spent enough money to have 800 hp.... i would have enough money to do the rest as well

he did everything himself, the guys is a total gearhead. ain't one thing he don't know about these things and anything I've ever had a problem with he always has an answer and it's always right. that IS a 393. might not be able to tell from pics but here is an easy way of telling... the intercooler piping, you did notice how it goes UNDER the intake elbow??? yea you wouldn't be able to do that if there was a 302 based motor in there. doesnt sit high enough. as for how clean it is, and picking out the small stuff,, let's see YOUR engine bay.. thought so..

I said for MY car once I put that vortech on it I'm also putting in 42# injectors, boost timing master, boost reference regulator.. his car wouldn't even run on 42# lol. I wish I coulda got a video of it before we took off the charger..
