  • My Mustang and Maverick videos

I know, slow... But 20 years ago this was pretty fast for a street car!
    Duane's 69 Mustang from the early 90s. Junkyard 460 & C-6, bottle pass 2.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piF20OPF8E4 Maverick was a real budget, less than $1,000 in it.

...Man do I miss a bunch of dry hops!!!

Holy shit, two of my favorite street cars back in the old school street racing days were David Painter's '67 coupe and your '69 fastback (even back before you painted it).
Thanks for posting, that brought back some great memories.

I love the Maverick. I had a '71 in high school that I redid. It got totaled while I was at Wyo Tech in 92. I got a '70 when I came back from school and salvaged the first one. I had to sell the '70 about 4 years ago since I just didn't have the time or money to put into it at the time. I will have another one at some point. I really miss mine.

Those were white people at the Kennebelly? And what's with that crazy idea they had of sitting in the stands and watching? I thought you were supposed to crowd the track like a bunch of goons?

          Ahh, the good old days....

Nice cars. I was around in those days. I remember that Maverick.

I know! That was even a Fri-Nite! That was one of my many Mavericks, the other primer one was actually faster. I wish I wouldn't have had C6's in them, now I know how bad they killed ET. Dave has it now and he built it into a tube chassis car, and it's just sitting.
Look at his other vids, the Ranchero is there, and his 69 Stang too.

It was my daily from 1980-2005, about ready to turn 600,000 miles. It started off as a 200-I6, 3sp and has had a header, nitrous (on a 1bbl carb) top loader, SROD transmissions, then went to a 250 for several years. Then in 2005 when it was not my daily, it got a stock late model roller, 3.00 gears so I can drive it anywhere, two bbl carb, runs 9.00/14.20's Gets bracket raced by my daughter.
Mustang was a street car until 1996, when the cage and rear suspension was done. Still is streetable, I just don't want to...

Shit, talk about a blast from the past. I am certain I'm in the video somewhere.

LMFAO @ Larry talking shit on the PA!

This video, with the el camino - that's that guy, ED?, that had the '64 ChevyII that lived on the westside - the one with the 2X4's sticking out of the hood and the cragar type mags.
