Ok so im hoping to go this weekend and pick up a 302. It will be a motor that I will do a rebuild on but I will rebuild it stock.

So I want to find a roller motor with forged pistons. I think the years it came from was a 88-90 HO motors but can someone tell me verifiy that for me?

Also my car being a 85 with a carbed 2.3L in it I believe I have a block mounted pump (i know I should have look already but iv been to busy) with that said Im sure that the motor I want is not going to have a hole for a manual pump. So I want to know if the hole it on the timing cover can I switch the timing cover off an older 302 to give me the hole I need to run a manual pump?
That MF'er is prolly so fast it would be like riding a big giant can of rape named bubba just outta prison set free in a girls college dorm.

yes! change timing cover and you need a fuel pump eccentric!

Fuel Pump Eccentric? I thought the Fuel Pump ran off an extra lobe on the cam?

yup, it looks like he pulled all the way forward in the spot he's in, and cut the wheel to back out, and hit that grey pole in the picture.

I only say this, because I did the same thing in my old 350Z leaving my ex's place pissed off

Cam caught it but you cant see the plate. Looks like an older Nissan Maxima with big wheels.
