One of the cool things about this board is the freedom with which we give each other a little shit for the sake of debate or humor or just to open someone's eyes if they're being foolish or a little crybabyish. It crosses the line at times, but to get... well... butthurt over somebody calling you butthurt, is a waste of energy. If I crossed the line then I think you draw your line in a funny spot. If it really twists you up then I do sincerely apologize. I didnt set out to hurt anyone's feelings today. That said, I'm not mad at you for calling me a dick or a prick or a candlestick. Just let it all out.

I'm generally a pretty nice dude whether in person or on the board. I can't help it if you get so upset over nothing. No one else does.

If we were hanging out in person and you started being a crybaby, I'd call you on it. Not in an asshole way, but in a playful yet "let me help you with a little advice" kinda way. And that's just what I did. I told you that you sound butthurt and that you should find a way to unwind. Why does that offend you so deeply? The question is, are you really this uptight and sensitive in person? You're acting like I kicked your dog. Just chill out a little.

Come to think of it, if you really were this whiney in person, I'd probably avoid being around you completely. But this is an internet message board. We can interact with each other without having to commit to being best buds or hanging out with every single person we post with. There is indeed a difference between the internet and real life. That said, my personality is pretty much the same in either place. As far as I know, it doesn't rub anyone else the wrong way like it does you.

You know as well as I do you can't percieve how someone is over the web. You may have intended it, but that's not how it came through. Perception is everything. When communicating over this medium, you have to take into consideration that a very high percentage of communication is non-verbal, and you did not do that.

I did not read the whole thread and whatever other drama you managed to drum up. However, this is precisely why I don't order scopes from opticsplanet.com anymore. Out of 3 orders, for 3 different scopes, 2 were out of stock and they did not even tell me for a few days.
