The problem with uparmoring something like a Prerunner is thw weight and stress it puts on the vehicle and drivetrain. We ditched our uparmored Landcruisers because of this, but the HD 2500 Suburbans work out pretty well. The 8100's and transmissions hold better too.Comment

Excursions and F550 are the only way to go. Ford's A/C suck though and the Cheby's were more comfortable to ride in during the summer.
