and again i will say, i CAN NOT believe that "someone" above all of us called for a withdrawl of that valley, why the FUCK would you do that ya know? every since US forces have pulled out of there, the Taliban have been using it as a safe haven, a place to regroup & reorganize, and I MYSELF can tell you this is true because our battalion along with some other highspeeds in the recent past have went in there and its damn near impossible anymore. we're talkin like, air support of all kinds, a whole 2 battalions worth of fighting power, and some other "groups" i cant say, and its just not doable anymore. we fuckin LOST on that part. its bullshit. i think we need a mass effort to go in there and wipe that fuckin place clean of all scum. like i said, we're just about 5 or 6 miles northeast of that hellhole, that whole valley, from chowkay all the way into the korengal section of it is just INFESTED with them fuckers. but no, lets just let them do what they do so they can have a nice safe winter so they can come fuck us all up next year. bullshit

"Oh theses guys are fucked"
and
"the unit we replaced didnt do shit"
Here is a key to unlock all doors. Get into the special operations community. Be it with the rangers, or green berets, and never look back. Had the new GI bill not came out, I would have never left. I had more fun, and did more bad ass stuff that anyone in the regular army can imagine.
I'm downloading this movie now.
On topic. No we never should have pulled out of Korengal. We never should have let such small units get fucked off on a daily basis when there are way too many bodies just wondering the streets of BAF. I would have had troops living ontop each other just to have more trigger fingers to put lead down range on goat fucking talibs and thugs that used our guys for sport. "what is that you say Captain. Your COP can only hold 20 guys well here is 50. Find something for them to do. Rotate them 25 on mission 25 back at the COP. Now you have 5 extra people for watch then you had before".Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Just finished it, one of the best documentaries I have seen about the current conflict. Obviously it's impossible to cram a 15 month deployment into an hour and a half, but everyone should watch it. Little bit different than watching the war on CNN and Fox News.De Oppresso Liber.
