Frank, you talking about Manitou made me laugh. I graduated from Manitou Springs HS and it was an interesting mix of hippies, potheads and rednecks. We used to hang out at the nickel arcade after school/friday nights. It has always had a tourists trap feel but has gotten worse in the past few years.

We're looking for a place to live up here and the stress is pretty high. That being said, yesterday we just took off for Estes Park and enjoyed about a 90 min ride through the mountains, windows down, no a/c blasting and loving the 65-70* temps. Ate along the river and there were no insects swarming or sweat, etc. People are incredibly friendly as well.

Spotted this unusual body kit I had never seen before. I really liked the looks of it.

Those body pieces are off my favorite classic truck; 1958-1959 Chevy Apache. They absolutely failed on that, imo.

awesome pics. I took that exact trip with my wife and parents 5 years ago and have been really wanting to get back there. When we went we stayed the entire week camping at a campground by the royal gorge but we went to cripple creek, garden of the goods, and a few other places.
