These shitheads are groomed at an early age to run from authority.
If you distrust your treatment by the PD you don't show it by resisting. But then again I was raised to respect authority figures (teachers, principals, po-po).
Generally, I have found that most of the cooler cops are the ones in Matt and Jimmy's position. They've been around long enough to gain some perspective and tend to treat people far more fairly than many others.

Originally posted by bcoop View PostOf course. But let's say you're wrongfully arrested over something. Should you really have to pay thousands and thousands out of pocket to prove your innocence, just because the police have the authority to make you do so? I thought this was America, where you are innocent until proven guilty. Silly me. What was I thinking?

Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostI see a distrust in police, but what about the whole world of the prosecution side, the DA's office. The system is set up where the police investigate and arrest, the Grand Jury has to indict, and the DA has to successfully prosecute. The odds are in the favor of the defendant.
Favor of the defendant or not, once the police arrest you, it's on you to prove your innocence, not the other way around, which is the way it's supposed to be. And again, the defendant is out thousands and thousands of dollars, that they will never recover, even if they are innocent. Where the fuck is the justice in that?Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

It's my belief that anyone who has a distrust or an attitude against law enforcement usually also have a prior criminal history of some sort as well. I bet if you look into most of the backgrounds of the "FTP! crew" you will find people who have had negative interaction with police they brought upon themselves breaking the law.

Your buddy Adam has no criminal history that I know of. Neither does Al. I do, and it's no secret, but it's also no secret that I've accepted full responsiblity for my actions, and I got what I deserved. You also have to take in to account, that it was 11 years ago, with no trouble since. I can't comment on anyone else, as I don't know them.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

That Mo layed there and literally drowned in his own blood. See how he was coughing and gagging with all that blood coming out of his mouth and pulling his head up trying to gasp those last few breaths as his lungs filled right up with blood....pretty brutal way to die, but if he did all the shit they said to those other people then good job....even if he didn't shoot at the cops.70' Chevelle RagTop
