  • Auto "museum" in AZ

While in Phoenix for the All Star Game I went to the International Auto Museum. Turns out it's not much of a museum, it's more of a holding ground for an auction. The only info for any of the cars was an owner filled in form listing the year, mileage, etc. These are just some of the cars that were there. (And yes I know my camera(work) sucks.)

They had it advertised that they had some Shelby Mustangs - then it turns out they were both clones

    This one is a new-body(Dynacorn)

So is this Camaro(they had a brand new 69 Camaro vert body in the crate)

    These were pretty neat too:

Half of the cars weren't really accessible, like this Porsche:

And there was a notchback in there(said it was a SSP car):

Yeah, it was worth $10 to walk around and it killed some time while remaining in the A/C.

I always pay attention when I see an 850, my boss has had a few over the years. He currently has a 1991 850 Dinan Twin Turbo Stage 2 - which is 1 of ~30 that year. It's a blast to drive.

It's actually in Scottsdale - just off of 101 and East Indian Bend Rd - http://www.scottsdaleinternationalautomuseum.com/
Looking at their site they show a lot more cars in inventory than what was on display.

Except for a couple blurry pix there's nothing wrong with your shooting skills thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I think the blurry ones came from not waiting for the autofocus to adjust all the way - I was on the phone part of the time but still wandering around.

They also had a lot of cool artwork hanging on the walls(the artists on listed on their site). It was all good, until I saw the prices. Most of it I looked at and thought it was worth(or I would be willing to pay) a few hundred bucks... the prices were $2-3k
