Ill be in Germany next week. We should meet up for a beer! Or check out that badass German shooting range.
Heck yeah! you're gonna be in Beer Land? Munich? I was expecting pompous asses here in France, and it has been the other way around. So far everyone has been very kind.

My daughter went to school in Italy and traveled all over Europe while there. She said they rarely came across anyone that was unfriendly due to them being American. She said the French were particularly friendly. Go figure...
any chance you want to pay for me to study abroad in Spain?
I was in Paris for 3 weeks back in May and that was nowhere nearly enough time. I do have a suggestion if have the time go to the Hotel Invalides and the Arms Museum. The Louvre was fascinating but very crowded and not enjoyable to me. The Arms Museum is also where the Tomb of Napoleon is located. I'll be going back to Paris on my Return trip from Africa next month.

They're friendly as all get out, but the street vendors and such will charge you more if you approach them in English. When me and buddy approached them in German first, then switched to English because they didn't understand us, they charged us less than the vendors we first spoke English with.
Beautiful country. I'm jealous of both you if y'all go the Beer Gardens in Munich. Check out the HofbrÀuhaus while you're there, too.
Beautiful weather here today. Cool and clear - around ~70 in the day and ~50 at night. Came in town for Bastille day - Got a nice firework show at the Eiffel Tower - took a few pics:
The city is beautiful, but the police sirens are fucking driving me bonkers - weird ass sirens. Today has been a first of many - never in a million years would I expect to see tanks and tracked vehicles driving down the streets of Paris. I have some pics - pretty cool. First thing I saw when I got off the plane was a French soldier carrying a FAMAS. I considered stealing it to give to Alex.
If you are going to steal one, take two, I would like one as well. As for the record, being the guy that you are, you could NOT have chosen a better day to go to France, as you chose the "dia de Bastille" So you got the whole shabang! Military Parade and all!
