Not terrible, but last year on the same trip in my Dodge I had the wife and all her crap, towing my Mustang on the trailer, floor jack and some tools too....it got 17 loaded. I know that's an apples and oranges comparison though.http://dfwdirtriders.com/ New Website for the off road peeps

I can drive my company vehicle as much as I want for personal use, and my GF has her car so.

The truck is extremely quiet, comfortable, and can get up and go pretty good. As quiet as the turbos are I LOVE it when I can hear them. The factory bluetooth phone option is freaking awesome and no one can ever tell they are on speaker.

Since we are talking about mileage... my very first tank was 150 miles of city 200 of highway and I averaged 17.1 hand calculated. The computer said 18.2. Should be filling up again this week and we will see what it says. Last tank was from the dealership, so I dont know if it was REALLY full.
Its weird not having a gas cap.

Yeah, I can't seem to win....I went from a shit truck with a great engine to just the opposite.
Seriously though...the 5.4 doesn't run bad, it's just a serious gas hog. After all these years driving 3/4 and 1-tons, I'm more used to a "trucky" feeling truck I suppose....this thing is more like a luxary car with a box on the back. I'm the hardest damned person I know to please!
Maybe I should try daily in some sort of car for a while. Hmmm....C6's get good MPG I hear!

BTW, on floor mats....I bought the Husky Weather Beaters for mine, and they have been great! They fit perfectly and match the truck very well...also a snap to clean up being all rubber...and don't trap dog hair like the fiber ones tend too. I love the way the edges rollover to the outside. The rear area mat covers the whole floor too....no complaints at all on these....I think they were around ~$170 to my door and they were money very well spent!
