That is, unless modern society doesn't kill them off first by, like what a video I watched on the same topic said, modern viruses. Even moving from one side of the country to another, you've got some time to get acclimated to the difference in germs/general nasties that exist from one portion of the country to the other. Granted, you won't be out and out sick, but you'll have a runny nose or something like that for a couple days to a week until your immune system catches up.
