Im curious as to why people think this? That is like saying changing mufflers to gain sound is homosexual... You are making a modification to make your vehicle gain a better/different sound.

Also Ford has "outlawed" so to speak people doing this to their vehicle. If you get caught with your car done this way, you just might find yourself in a lawsuit.. Or so I have heard...

Generally a louder muffler is going to provide an increase in power, the fake idle will not. Is it not the goal of any good tuner to retain idle quality while providing as much additional power as possible? I would place the fake cam idle on the level of those turbo sound exhaust inserts.

Yes and no. You would be surprised how many customers we get, wanting nothing more then a better sound. (or any sound at all haha)

As for fake cam sound.. It's not a fake cam sound, you are simply opening the cams up completely and allowing the cam to be full lift and duration 100% of the time rather then when the computer wants it..

A fake cam sound would be someone pulling a vacuum line off and creating a major leak with the intentions of making it sound like it has a large cam when in fact it is stock. The mustangs have the ability to have large or small cam profiles upon demand.

I understand how the cam timing system on these motors functions. Its no surprise that many people just want their cars to sound fast. I would just rather actually be fast while retaining idle quality.
