my girlfriend played soccer and she would always poke holes in the toe nails to drain them so she wouldnt lose the nail.

usually when the new nail comes out it pushes the old one off, but this time it was hurting more than usual

if u are having pain with the ingrown toe nail i recommend it, like i said above, the worst part is when they stick you to numb the nail, the rest is painless (until the numbness starts going away) then its bearable, nothing too bad, the tetanus shot they gave me after hurts worse than the whole nail procedure

i dealt with ingrown toenails for about a year or so at least. i know what it feels like and all the bullshit it comes with

trust me, quit being a pussy and get the fucking surgery

it looks alot worse than it really is, the whole procedure took less than 10 min for both nails, i was in and out the doctors office in 30 min

I'll be getting it done soon, tired of the pain ingrown toenails cause. I was told they could burn the cuticle and stop them from growing back, then you just glue on a fake nail.

they put a liquid that kills part of the root, so the nail never grows back in that spot

this is how they did mine


except they did both sides of the nail. got one foot done when i was in jr high and the other when i was 17. shit i drove myself to and from the dr when i was 17

and after a short time that 'gap' between the skin & nail will close. the skin moves up to the nail



i have had absolutely ZERO problems with my toes after the surgeries. i can't stress enough how easy the procedure is and how much better life is after it heals
