    Looks worse than being in a 3rd world country. Some pretty close calls, especially with the nuts on cycles.

          The drivers were the biggest problem in that vid. Most of the interactions between bikes and pedestrians really weren't that close.

            Looks far worse from the above/far away perspective. Wonder how many of those bikes were couriers. Those bastards are crazy.

              I was there last weekend, and that intersection looks tame. The throngs of people/bicycles/cars all trying to negotiate at the same time is impressive. The video said "4 people a day are seriously injured/killed", out of 8 million people living there... I'd say they're doing great, percentage wise.

              Pedicabs are probably the biggest danger on the road, since they have live cargo & can give no warning of lane change, aside from the cursory glance over the shoulder.

              Cabbies straddle two lanes until they figure out which one is the winner.

                  Apperantly not. I can only assume that it's the same there, but here in SoCal pedestrians and cyclists feel entitled to do whatever they want, regardless of what the signal/law says.
