500+ per tank and $50 to fill up my TDI Jetta. I usually average 37mpg with 80% city driving.

lol TDI is the best mileage car there is besides a pos Prius.

My GTI got 32 mpg average to and from Houston when I went to get my heads for the FRC last month. I got there in under 3 hours too...

oh and it'll run 13s, unlike the other 20 sec hot rods bragged about.

I love my TDI. I usually get right at 600 a tank 99% hwy driving since I live a block from GB and work a block off i30 and it's a 5 speed

why do people say how many gallons per tank they get? it's not a fucking comparable number... just say how many miles per gallon you get.

I've gone 600 miles on a tank before and it took 15 gallons to fill it up. Then again it is a Camry Hybrid.

Best I've ever gone was 618 miles on one tank in my 01 jetta tdi that has 180K miles on it. Went from FL to Va beach on one tank.

And cooter, it came out around 53 mpg when I filled up.

MY 08 Escape gets 30 on the highway. acording to that site, it is rated at 26. i run Mobil 1 5w30. it has a 14.6ish gallon tank. perfect for my family too and very ecinomical also. i love my Escape.

In the new Fiesta it takes me $30-35 to fill up and I can get a little over 400 miles out of a tank of gas.

Estimated 25-35 city mpg & 35-45 highway mpg.

I have had the car a year and a half and not really done a good road trip. I do get mid 40's on the highway when I take it easy.

I do like keeping track with fuelly.com. It helps to see what other people are getting real world, rather then that "best tank" they post on the forum. Our '06 Accord is getting an average of 23, but it's only really city driven on short trips (my wife works close to home).
