On my SVT focus I can kiss 400 miles on an 11 gal tank on the highway.

Best at 75-80 is 28 mpg. Worst tank since new is 23 mpg. Now has 30k miles. Next ride will be a prius I hope.

I do think it's funny that you're like, "Not bad for a 82k mile '06 SUV/crossover." As if 82k miles (or 5 yrs old, for that matter) should somehow significantly affect gas mileage.

I can go that many miles on 3/4 tank (and, BTW, it's been paid off for a very long time ). That doesn't say anything about my mileage though.
The mileage and model were stated because, and I should have clarified, it's been driven hard and suv's aren't known for being fuel efficient.

Theoretically, I can go as much as 710 miles on my 18.5 gallons...but it's nowhere near paid off, so you got me there! I've never gone more than 650 on a tank though, I chickened out.
It's a 2005 Audi A4, btw."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
