30p prop is WAY too much for a stock 25 OL. My favorite prop on mine is a 24p Bravo 1 labbed (or stock is awesome too). But I have a 23p Mirage that I used for a spare.

This was cruising at about 65mph on mine.
    I build websites. PM me.

I know this is the boat thread, i know you got it running a few weeks ago, but were you ever able to get any passes out of it? I figured you still had it, but fuck that car was nothing but a pit by the end, although you did have some great numbers in it. I can't believe you just finished the motor and then got rid of it... problems w/ it again?

You might be right. On my Formula 312 with twin 502 efi I ran labbed 30P. I have never owned a flat bottom boat nor would I ever. Way to unstable at high speeds.

The Baja's are a deep V as well just like your Formula, but you probably have a stepped hull. There's a TON of stuff that goes into prop selection as far as size, pitch, prop slip, power, rpm's and other stuff I dont know much about.

I do know he could probably do a 25p Rev4 Prop on, but I think a 25p prop is the most pitch he'll be able to run with a stock motor.

That formula is a SWEET boat btw! Wait... that looks like a fountain and your avatar is fountain lol I take it the boat in the picture is not the boat we're talking about?

Sold the Formula a few years back. I have a 47' Fountain with triple 500. BB Blades does my prop work. We have labbed my 27p, raised my RPM's to 5200, straightened some cup out, and gained 4 mph on top end. I ordered some 6 blade Herrings and going to see how they perform.

Those herrings are $$$$ but should ROCK OUT!

I bet you see low-mid 90's with the triples. 70mph on my boat was fast, I can't imagine 95+. Just the sound of it would be insane.

                      That's the one.
