You sound a little bitter. The wife/gf not putting out or cooking meals? AKA staying on her job. Or maybe you're just butt hurt because you know you can't step out of line with your woman.

Assuming you even have a woman or lady friend.

I'm done ranting now and all further comments about "girl troubles" thread I will not be responding to unless it's in "girls troubles" thread, just FYI. You can find your responses there.

Nice daily. And a good looking truck to match.

You'll get much more than that EPA estimate on the highway. My 3,900 lb. (with driver) bolt on A4 LS1 GTO gets almost 30 mpg highway.

I'm steady getting a laugh out of the whole ordeal. The roommate did as well. In fact she'll have dinner ready by the time I get home tonight from work.

Thanks. I won't own anything but a Ford for some reason. That truck kills me.

What are those LS1 GTO's going for nowadays? I always considered picking one up as a daily.

Actually, back to girlfriend now, actually. Apparently she whipped, I mean guilted him into being her boyfriend again.

Autotrader shows 11k and up... and who wants to fuck with repairs on a daily driver? Its not worth callin in sick to work.

4-5 year old cars usually don't require engine and tranny replacements. you're grossly overestimating the repairs issue. He made a shitty choice, plain and simple.
9-10 k for a car that would be faster, better mpg, and put 2-3k back into his pocket, liability insurance, and no monthly payments.

It's not hard to see here, and a little car shopping on his part could have went a long way.
