  • Something else Cooter might like...

Uploading some pics from my phone and thought I'd share a few of them.

This thing has been for sale out here by my place for a bit, I forgot I had taken a picture of it at the Pate swap meet.....

I also thought this thing was really cool....

And finally....a good friend of mine has owned this thing forever and it's been camped out in his garage without being started for probably 8-10 years now. He recently bought a new house and asked me to come over and move it for him, so I took a couple cell phone pics.

I've asked him to sell it to me several times and he has thought about but hasn't caved yet. He swears I'll get first crack when the day comes....and if that day ever comes it will for sure be an LSX swap candidate...but I would otherwise leave it looking exactly the same. It's a 72'.

That z car would be super fun with a plain carb'd ls6, a camshaft swap, and a manual tranny.

Indeed. The purests would probably have a fit, it's actually a pretty clean original....not too many miles on it either....~60K or so I think. My buddy bought it out in Cali when he was in the Navy and it sat in a storage a lot out there. When he moved back to Texas about 15 years ago it was still running/driving, but he did the wife and kids deal shortly thereafter and it has pretty much sat since then.
