  • '65 Cobra...

My friend is restoring a fully documented '65 Cobra at his shop right now. What I wouldn't kill to have one of these things!! The guy who owns this one also has a fully documented red cobra as well that's already been restored.

Anyway, thought you guys might enjoy seeing a couple of pictures. He just started on it last week.

      A few... http://www.injectedcustoms.com/gallery/65_ac_cobra/

I'm actually the one taking the pictures, but he got a lot torn down before I got back to the shop. lol. He's got some pretty cool cars coming through the shop and is about to get several more pretty rare cars in there as well. (mostly from the same guy)

It's the real deal. Interesting...records show that car (CSX 2332) to have been bought at the 2010 Mecum Auction for $550,000?

It's been sold many times, apparently. It was originally bright blue with red leather.

            Yup.

46tbird, no it's not the same one. I don't know if I'm allowed to say who ones it, but if my buddy says it's ok, then I'll divulge that info. He has a pretty large collection of classics.

I've known him for a few years now. A friend of mine, kurtis, has a blue Camaro he brings up there from time to time. Wes does some great work.

Do you have some pictures of the big block mean orange chevy? That thing was unbelievable.

                        Cool, small world.

Yeah I've got some pics of the 56 on his website. I've got some video of it as well that I need to upload. He still has it at the shop right now actually. Definitely a beast, and fun to ride in.
