    Very cool man! Looks like y'all stayed in a pretty nice place and you got some nice animals. Kudus are one of my favorite African animals and yours looks like a good one by SA standards. What did he measue? Also, what caliber was your weapon of choice? I'm assuming a .270 or .300 based on the size of the animals you killed.

    No. You can't import meat into the US in situations like that. You can get the skull, cape and a few other parts back and that's about it.

      No. You can't import meat into the US in situations like that. You can get the skull, cape and a few other parts back and that's about it.
      He was around 52". We used my Dad's custom .300 Ultra

        52" is nice. Are the bases about 11"?

        IMHO, .300 is the way to go. I've dropped plenty of big animals with my .300 Weatherby. Having said that, I took my 10 year old to Namibia last summer and he my .270 and had absolutely no problem taking down his Kudu. Then again, he's a much better shot than I am.

                        I'm not a hunter but I love shooting. Sounds like fun but I don't think I could hunt and kill a Zebra. I don't really know why.
