Is 6k really out of line?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like a 13yr old Mustang with a half-ass engine swap. You've been around Mustangs long enough to know it's worth more in parts than it is as a complete car.
Get the gauges fixed and clean it up some more... maybe 8k?When the government pays, the government controls.

Too bad it isn't a convertible, I'd buy it for $6250. I've seen 96-98 Cobras go for $4500 in good shape. It's got a nice motor and all, but Danny is probably right at the high end. Don't threaten me not to call you out so that I can call you out so that you won't show up about it, either.

That body style is the biggest thing against it selling over $10k. I like it a hair more than a 78 cobra.
I'd part it out. I wanted to buy my wrecked 03 cobra back, but I wasn't giving the insurance company $9k for a car with a thrashed body/rear end.
You'll miss it if you get a GT500. They are refined to the point of dulling all feeling of power. I'm thinking about selling mine and getting another 03 cobra and a 93 cobra.
