I love the shit out of those trucks, but damn that gas mileage. Looks like a fun lil project, though.

Amen to that. I have a damned I6, short bed 5 speed and see 16MPG highway, 12 city. Can only imagine what the 5.8L pulls down. Love those trucks though, especially the lightning.

thanks guys....you can subscribe but its not going to be an overnight process...its taking me 2 months just to get to a point to where i could get it to the house. i plan on taking care of the major issues then work on minor details like the driver side check spring on the door. its little shit like that that irritates me....and when fixed, means the most

If you ever need one for parts, I heard about one that got into the wire in the median here by Texarkana, really didn't hurt it bad, but the guy that owns it is extremely picky and doesn't want it now that it's been wrecked. I heard it can be had for reasonably cheap and only has like 60K miles on it.
