  • BRR's newest project: Project Stepchild

its been a long time coming. A lot of you know me from my blue four eye'd fox. Long story short i sold it to TannerM.....then he sold it off and profited and now driving "Aunt Flo", CJs old F100. Well this is my newest project and kind of a wild barn find so to speak. I came across it on craigslist a while back and after about a month of cold calling the guy with no responses he one day answered and i went that night to check it out. came back 30 days later and left with the truck. It sat in his shop for 5 years and he eventually decided to file a mechanics lien as the original owner never came and got it (hence the 30 days) i got a smoking deal on it so i couldnt pass it up.

    1994 Ford F150 Lightning #425 of 1382
151k and 100% stock and original with the exception of the tires, brakes, shocks, and ecu (reason for it being in the shop in the first place)

Needs: Minor dents and dings fixed and paint although if it werent for the dents and scratches the paint looks really good
    AC compressor
TIRES!!!!! Its got may-pops on it now
    Need door key cut
    Radio
    Antenna
    Windshield (has crack)

Like i said Project but it has ZERO leaks and doesnt miss a beat. hasnt been stickered since 06. pulled out of QT today headed to the car wash and got it side ways

I will update this thread for the BRR mafia as it progresses.

    here are the pics.

ok so yesterday, Saturday Nov 3, 2012 was the start of my anxiety

      Can you say Quakersludge??

nothing like a little crack to get the morning going lol

wish i would have taken pics of the locker and gears installed before the girdle went on....sho wuz purdy

as of now the rear end is put back in and only needs the brakes reinstalled and the longbars reinstalled then its finished.

pulling the block out next weekend since we found all the sludge and gunk and have decided it will get new paint bearings seals and arp hardware throughout it as well as a new oil pump. we also discovered the distributor was TRASH....upper bearing is shot and it grinds wobbles and snags on something inside....so a new one of those will be underway as well.

I think we got a lot done considering i removed stripped and painted the rear end yesterday and was able to install the locker gears and new bearings and hardware as well as set up the gears and strip down the engine to the block.

      Stay Tuned

11/8/2012 Dropped off Upper and lower intake, coil bracket, and longtubes to get ceramic coated. Accessory brackets and intake plaque will be gloss black and i will paint the lighting lettering silver once he finishes...@ 475$ its a bargain

                Helloooooooo gas stations!

I love the shit out of those trucks, but damn that gas mileage. Looks like a fun lil project, though.

I havent seen one of them Alpine 3-CD changers in a long freakin time.

Always had a soft spot for the first gens. Wanted to get one again when Trucks did that STS turbo one a couple years back.

                      I want constant updates!

I love those trucks, I forgot what the factory intake looked like on those, very restrictive (not the manifold)
