Update: got some arp wave lock rod bolts and main cap bolts in today along with some king race main and rod bearings. Picked up a parts washer as well already full of crap. Engine is out and decided it is going to Wayne Calverts race engine shop to get hot tanked, new freeze plugs and cam bearings. The bearings that were in it were just starting to show the copper but all wear surfaces look excellent. obviously engine its out stripped and truck is in the drive way with the front frame crossmember section coated in easy off oven cleaner. that is some stout ****.

Most of the time to tank it and install cam bearings and freeze plugs is around 150-200 bucks .
