what kind of neighborhood do yall live in where there arent kids playing in the street?!?! you make it seem like its a freaking racetrack out there and everyone is high tailing it.Originally posted by talismanI wonder if there will be a new character that specializes in bjj and passive agressive comebacks?Originally posted by AdamLXIf there was, I wouldn't pick it because it would probably just keep leaving the game and then coming back like nothing happened.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyBecause fuck you, that's whyOriginally posted by 80coupenice dick, Idrivea4bangerOriginally posted by Rick Modena......and idrivea4banger is a real person.Originally posted by JesterMan ive always wanted to smoke a bowl with you. There are plenty of kids that play in the street were I live and most of them always moved to yard well before a car is where we were at . The issue I have is Parents that think the street is an extension of there property and its their right to let them roam freely in the street without keeping an eye on them. Why should I have to stop and wait for them to wrangle all their kids up cause they are spread between 4 houses also the kids age ranges from 2-5 and they don't know that they have to move out of the way.I avoid that street as much as possible even though it the street I live on and use a alternate route. Now there are kids(10-13 yr olds) on the only other street to get to my house that keep playing basketball in the street when cars are 5ft from them, then get mad cause their game was interrupted. Its not the kids fault they were not taught to get out of the way but the Parents.

I too grew up in a cul-de-sac, which was awesome, but I also roamed the neighborhood with friends. It was a bit differen't in that our neighborhood was a bit isolated from main thoroughfares, so the only traffic was people that lived there coming or going. Never had a problem holding up traffic.
It's completely different where I live here in SoCal, people drive no less than 35 down the residential streets. When out walking my dog it seemed fast, so at first I thought I was getting old and crotchety, but I drove down the very same road at 30, and I felt that was too fast in terms of having time to react. Parking is limited, so the streets are lined with cars on both sides, driving that fast is absurd but everybody does it.

I think 15-20 is a safe speed.. I live on the corner of somewhat busy street.. The speed limit down it is 35.. i usually go about 25.. and then just swing into my drive way but if it were deeper i would most likely keep the same pace of about 20-25
