People associate loud noise with going fast so they tend to say someone is going faster if the car is loud.

We have some jerk off with a newer mustang in my neighborhood and the dude has no mufflers at all. It has that raspy ass "no mufflers with cats" sound to it. He doesn't haul ass up the street though so I have no reason to complain.

This reminds me of this one dude that used to run out into the street and harass me everytime I went to my girlfriends house in Highschool. He would jump in front of my car and raise hell about the speed limit and how his kids are playing and all this crap.

The thing is I drove a '91 pontiac grand prix with a digital dash and I showed my GF that we were going under the speed limit and one time he did it to me as I was doing 18mph according to my speedo. Some people you cant make happy.

That being said, Cobraman is still a young douchbag in a mustang and its all his fault.

When you have a baby at home you're trying to get to sleep and then some asshole goes blazing down the street waking the baby because he can't be respectful of his neighbors you can tell me how cool it is to be told to go fuck yourself.

I don't give it a shit if you have a loud car or not. But when you're driving through a neighborhood you can idle through quietly to be respectful of your neighbors. We all have to live together, it's better to do it in harmony. I have three modified cars with louder exhaust, but I'm aware of the noise and creep through. Once you get out of the neighborhood, blast away for all I care.

But she always bitches at me when i working on it in the driveway. i still don't get it im not doing anything wrong and its not at night when people are trying to sleep. most of the time its about 3 in the afternoon!
