The thing is that it's some old couple. I'm always careful in the neighborhood because I knew this would happen. They are just grumpy. sure I pin it sometimes, but never in or near the neighborhood. I am respectful to my neighbors because I know many of them. The other problem I have is that they can't tell the difference between my car or someone elses. There are multiple loud cars where I live.

Someone old would not use the phrase, "go through the gears". They also know it's a "Cobra". They might seem old to you, but that's not some 70-year-old writing that.

I had a guy call the cops on me for "racing" down the street, when I was just accelerating normal and never exceeded 25-30mph. First the guy came down there yelling and insulting the owner of the house(a friend of mine). Then he left and a cop showed up, cop was completely cool and knew who the guy was because he complained about everything to them.

The funny part is I had the same exhaust on the GT in high school, mac O/R H with flow masters lol. Now I've grown up and that is just too damn loud.

Thats exactly the thing. It's the gears. It sounds like I'm moving when I'm doing twenty. They hear the 1-2-3-4 shift and just assume I'm doing 100 when I'm doing 25-30.

I have a neighbor that has a loud ass Vette who hauled ass up and down the street all the time. One time I was creeping through the neighborhood and one of my neighbors walked right out into the street in front of the car and started yellin at me about all the noise.

I told him I was sick of it too, but it wasn't me making all the noise, it was the guy in the Vette. My car only moves on Friday night for the most part. Just because I have a sports car too, doesn't mean its all me. I have a little two year old at home and I don't want anyone doing that shit either. I told him I would go down there and talk to the Vette guy. I did, we talked cars a few minutes and he was cool for a short while.

Well, about 3 weeks later, I'm out in the driveway cleaning the Stangs and he comes by throwing rev's fish tailing around the corner. So I drove up to the police station, told them about whats been going on and the Chief himself got in his car, drove right to this Vette guys house and gave him a warning on the spot that if he's seen doing that shit again, he would be arrested for reckless driving.

The Vette guy now barely does anything more than idle through the neighborhood.
