I found some really cool carbon fiber vinyl. I peeled the burl woodgrain off a 67-68 XR7 instrument cluster and dash and replaced it with the carbon fiber. I am also upgrading the instrumentation to Auto Meter. I think it looks pretty good.

I painted two different Cougar emblems in order to decide if the emblem would look good on the dash. I like the orange.

I like the orange as well but the silver does go with the carbon fiber better.

The metal dash directly under this piece is orange, I think the orange may tie in really nice.

I'm still around, just don't post much anymore, and I still have the Calypso Coupe.

Lusk, the car looks great, I can't wait to see it in one piece.

Started the sanding and buffing process this last weekend. Looks like it is going to smooth out really nice. The pictures don't really do it justice.

Got some more done this weekend. Finished buffing it out. Now I can assemble the rest of the body.
