I was pretty impressed with the times with it. To bad they don't make an econoboost ranger. Now that would be fun. Like the Syclones back in the day

I ment is it leather and does it have the NAV system? I havent heard the new top line truck stereos yet and was told their sound quality is very good among OEM systems.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Nice truck. That having been said, if I were to commit to buying a new vehicle (your 2011 stang), I'd be pretty damn sure that I wanted to keep it for more than a few months.

If you don't mind sharing, what was the thought process on the trade-in? Did you not drive it enough before the purchase? Parents wanted something stouter, and had second thoughts on the stang?

If you had gotten an offer for more than owed on the Mustang, and only kinda liked, it it's a no-brainer. The negative equity says that there's more thought to it.

Regardless of the answer, I'm damn jealous, I inherited my step-dad's 4-cylinder '87 fox hatch when I was your age. I loved the car though, and learned to drive a stick in the hills of TN in it. By would I love to have that car now for a 347 swap.

The story is that when I first was looking at a newer vehicle to stop me from daily driving my fox, I wanted a truck. I worked at ford and got a steal on the v6 mustang. After awhile, and doing more work on the fox I realized I needed a truck so that's where I traded it in. My fox was my first car and worked hard for it. Everything I have, I worked hard for. Due to my age I have good credit but not enough so I had my mother co sign.

He had his 2011 a lot longer than I had mine. I only made 2 payments on mine before trading it in on am ecoboost.

I'm not faulting you dude, just curious as to the scenario. The fox was paid for when I got it, and the Ranger and '98 GT that I got after that were co-signed by my mom. I paid every payment on time, and consider that I earned the vehicles as well. I was 23 when I got my first new car, though due to stupid teenager syndrome, I had to get my mom to cosign there as well to get a livable rate.

Keep on the same track, use credit resposibly, and your next ride will be all you, and with a decent rate. Insurance on the other hand, will screw you until your 25.

I, on the other hand, would like to screw your sister until she's 25.

If there's enough reason, and dealership incentive, I see nothing wrong with that. If it's just "I don't like the color," then you're wasting money.

Ya it's nice to build my credit like this and pay for something I enjoy. The insurance on the 2 mustangs was $175 full coverage on both and since my fox won't be on the street I'm removing the insurance on it. And just getting insurance for the truck only

You definitely don't need full coverage, or even liability on the fox, but unless it's locked up 24x7, or you don't have a problem with it dissapearing without a trace, I'd look at options. Given the value, it may very well not be worth coverage to you, but there should be options available.

I've always been one to scoff at insurance, considering it a waste of money, as I had never been sick, or robbed. Having had a few accidents paid for since, having $80k in medicals bills taken care of, and getting 70% of the stuff stolen from my house reimbursed, I'm now a proponent.
