If I remember right they came off because he had discount tire mount them with new lug nuts. The Lug threads on that car are specfic and they put some generic lugs on. Iv read that it happens a lot and that you would'nt realise it until you drove on it because the incorrect threaded nuts will tightned up and torque down but will pull the threads out when you drive on them.
But it's still funny.
