  • What I did today was...

...hang out with these dudes. I rode in the 117 car and that thing hauls ass. We were limited to about a max of 65-70 because we weren't wearing back braces but it was a blast. I'll get more pics next weekend at the race. King suspension was offering tuning services and these were out there. Most were built LSx motors and the Trophy truck was said to be making 700+hp.

Couple more. It was difficult taking action pics because my phone was super slow.

If youre into that stuff, watch "Dust to Glory".

Its about the Baja 1000, and has some amazing footage.
My favorite shot is a trophy truck coming around a 90* turn (on asphalt) right out of the gate, that yanks, and carries a front tire. Lot of HP, and that loose ass like 40" (or something equally ridiculous) or suspension travel.

There's also a dirtbike that goes off the coarse and runs wide open on the beach to catch up to a guy. Theres helicopter footage of him just hauling ass right next to the waves.

Badass, this is the first thing that came to mind when you talked about filming with your phone.

I can't find the clip of him covering his beer and it's still just a sand slush but it cracks me up every time.
