              assuming your info is accurate, surely the use of deadly force is allowable once one of their own has been attacked! This appears to be nothing more than a simple case of piss poor training yielding piss poor results.

              On a side note, in a piece of crap country like this I am suprised that a man isnt ALLOWED to kill his wife for cheating.

                  I remember seeing this on Real TV when I was a kid. If I remember correctly all the cops stabbed survived from their wounds.

                    All I could think about was how those trucks started out life in America, and someone was so excited to be putting their name on the line for their new truck and a few years later it's hauling some bleeding mess to a 3rd world shithole hospital/animal clinic.

                            I will approach someone with a knife by having the Taser in the weak hand, and my gun in the strong hand.

                            I will say "Put down the knife" once, and then deploy the Taser. You don't want to give anyone time to attack.
