I was reading an article that suggests that the downed helicopter from the bin laden raid might have been a previously unknown new technology or new helicopter all together.

It got me looking at some copters on wikipedia and I found this bad ass picture of a Border Patrol "Blackhawk". I'm pretty sure I'd shat myself if I saw this in the rear view.

This one is sitting outside the hangar I work at. Built in 1970; was never anything more than an army trainer at Ft. Rucker. We pulled it from a boneyard to help with some structural analysis we are doing to support a Dept. of State project to fix up about 100 old UH-1H's.
