It's 168......with two lines on each louver ! Ya know, once I got going and kinda got a rhythm going, it didn't take nearly as long as I expected. It was hard on my back more than anything because the car is so low to the ground. I think total actual work time on the louvers and grille shell was about 2 1/2 hours, maybe 3. I'm still planning on doing some striping on the rear deck panel, just below the deck lid.

So are you going to stripe the centers or leave them black?

Man, I mixed up some dark silver that matched the frame, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed that it looked less than stellar. I really think white would look best, but there's not any white to speak of, on the entire car. The gauges are about it, as far as white goes. So I think I'm just going to leave them like they are.

Oh ! LOL ! Yeah, my dad's funny like that. He found that die and thought it looked cool, so when he made the turn signal arm, he put the die on it.

                    Thanks Aaron.

I'll have to get some pictures of the "cut-outs". When you uncap the headers, it's not just a cap that you take off, it's a plug that you pull out. It will make more sense when I post a picture of it. I should get a pic of it tomorrow.

Here's the pictures of the open header "plugs" I was talking about. When my dad built the headers, he built these "plugs" so there wouldn't be any reversion of the exhaust gasses when it got to the area of the caps. It's just a straight out shot.

                              This is the plug.

This is what you're looking at when you pull the "plug" out of the headers.

This is what you're looking at when the plug is in, and you're looking at the headers from the outlet that goes back to the exhaust.

This is with the "plug" taken out.
