It's real. And like Greg said, they have competitions all over the US. I don't think barflair is the only one that puts them on, either.

TGI Friday's just had their national convention at the new stadium, and they held a bartending competition there as entertainment for the attendees. If you've never been to one, they are a good time. They have them all over DFW throughout the year at random bars.

There is a cool flair bar outside of Harrah's on Las Vegas Blvd (between Harrahs and Imperial Palace).. They do some pretty cool shit. I plan to spend several hours a day there at the end of the month.

I think it's the Flair Devils that are out there in Vegas. I got to see them a couple years back when they were at the Hilton Anatole. Very cool performance they put on.

I know some of them at Harrah's compete, based on conversations with them in the past, but don't know if they have a "crew" or whatever the hell they call themselves. It's just a great atmosphere and a lot of fun to be around.
