Good looking truck. What's wrong with it? What motor is in it now?

A 355/T400 combo. It has a bad cylinder, and a couple blown cylinders for the four wheel drums. It sat for 4 years I was enlisted. Just a little time and money.
I figure I'd rather slap a 5.3 in there, then rebuild the top end of the 355.

With no overdrive, and 4.10 gears, it cruises about 65mph, and gets about 10 mpg. A 5.3 with overdrive... 15mpg would be so good. It has factory A/C too.
A disc brake swap up front would be real nice, but it's harder for us 3/4T guys to swap over, from what I head.

I think you can run 73-87 stuff up front on those.

Man I saw one of these in Denton a while back. Swb, lowered, black suede with no tailgate and bright ass orange wheels.

                    Looked killer.

                    So does yours!

It went to a good friend of mine, and he sold it to someone in the Houston area a few months back.
